NieR: Automata exists in the subliminal space that is between pre-nut confusion and post-nut clarity. To be in the space of mid-nut learning is paramount to being able to grasp this surreal experience that Yoko Taro has crafted. Within this empty void, a singular drumbeat can be heard. Its 2b's clapping ass cheeks.
Fight machines. Play bullet-hells. Get called out when controlling 9S for wanting to fuck 2b. Question the camera angles, then immediately understand them. This game has it all that exists within the void of mid-nut, you just have to find it.
