The Intro to the game was very attention grabbing. I enjoyed the animation, and the world intro that's not insanely long. Still managed to give good world background despite it only being
about 2ish minutes long
Character creation is nice with plenty of options, but god are those faces ugly.
being a wizard is 10/10. You can be a wizard WITH a gun, or just book n wand. The books have tiers as well as level spells. I've not really played the other weapons at
this point. I did try the bow and that was nice, the aiming wasn't awful. the crosshair they have for this game is good. I also tried the flint lock pistol that wasn't
as fun since it takes so long to reload. I don't see it as a real option as main weapon. ENEMY WIZARDS HAVE FIREBALL. NOT FUN TO BE HIT WITH. DODGE
this is a Obsidian game and a pillars of eternity game. While I like that game series, I did not like playing that game series. I do enjoy this one tho. So far for games
they've released in the past two years I'm enjoying this one as much as I did Outerworlds, and much more than Outerworlds 2. The story line isn't insanely long, but Obsidian
has never really written long games. I am okay with that, I think that for the length of the story part of the game it packed alot in.
there is a lot of lore and story in this game, a lot of it you have to find yourself via side quests and dungeoning, which ofcourse I kinda ignored this first playthrough.
act 3 gives you two fuckin awful ass options for major event choices. I don't particularly like when game's do this and both options are overwhelmingly awful. It's fine when
its a hard choice that has to be made, and they give you choice's that aren't basically the exact same fucking thing. I have to dock major points for this, or maybe add as
I've never had to sit here and think about my options.
The ending was predictable but not in a bad way. It was still a good ending, tho I have only done one of the three.
