Good luck, adventurer!
I need to go back and do the same with the Kingdom Hearts HD Collections
π My Quest to Platinum the Final Fantasy Series (feat. Spoony Bards & Jump Rope Trauma) π
Every gamer has that one series that becomes part of their soul.
For me, that series is Final Fantasy β a universe of music, magic, heartbreak, and characters who feel like lifelong companions.
And because I clearly enjoy suffering in style, Iβve decided to platinum as many Final Fantasy games as possible.
So far, Iβve conquered Final Fantasy I through V, and each one has reminded me why this franchise is legendary.

# πΆβ¨ The Magic of the Games Iβve Completed
## Final Fantasy I
The humble beginning.
A simple story, but iconic β the kind of adventure that feels like opening the first page of a myth. The music is pure nostalgia, and the characters, though silent, carry a charm that shaped RPGs forever.
## Final Fantasy II
A bold experiment with a leveling system that sometimes feels like it was designed by a spoony bard on a bad day.
But the story? Surprisingly emotional. Themes of rebellion, sacrifice, and loss hit harder than expected for such an early title.
## Final Fantasy III
The job system truly blossoms here.
Switching roles, discovering abilities, and shaping your party feels incredibly rewarding. The soundtrack is adventurous and uplifting β the kind that makes you want to run into battle with style.
## Final Fantasy IV
This is where Final Fantasy storytelling becomes cinematic.
Cecilβs journey from darkness to redemption is unforgettable. The cast is full of personality, the twists are dramatic, and the music is breathtaking.
Also, yes β this is the game that gave us the legendary insult:
βYou spoony bard!β
A line so iconic it deserves its own trophy.
## Final Fantasy V
A perfect blend of humor, heart, and gameplay depth.
The job system reaches peak creativity, and the characters bring so much personality. Itβs fun, emotional, and mechanically brilliant β a true gem in the series.

# πΎ The True Final Boss: Final Fantasy IXβs Jump Rope
Letβs talk about the demon in the room.
Final Fantasy IX is beautiful.
Itβs emotional.
Itβs whimsical.
Itβs one of the most heartfelt entries in the entire franchise.
But the Jump Rope minigame?
That thing was forged in the deepest pits of gaming hell.
I have tried.
I have suffered.
I have failed β many, many, MANY times.
You get into the rhythmβ¦
You start believingβ¦
You hit 100β¦ 150β¦ maybe even 200β¦
And then β
trip.
Your soul leaves your body.
Your controller silently judges you.
Even the spoony bard would feel sorry for you.
So yes, I fully admit it:
Final Fantasy IX is the hardest platinum for me so far.
Not because of bosses.
Not because of secrets.
Not because of grinding.
But because of a jump rope that refuses to let me live my best life.

# π Ranking the Hardest Final Fantasy Trophies So Far
Hereβs my personal ranking of the toughest challenges Iβve faced in my platinum journey (so far):
## 1. Final Fantasy IX β Jump Rope Master
Evil. Cruel. Unforgiving.
A trophy forged by a spoony bard who wanted to watch the world burn.
## 2. Final Fantasy V β Job Mastery Grind
Rewarding, but long.
Your patience will be tested. Your sanity will be questioned.
## 3. Final Fantasy II β Stat Leveling
Punching your own party members to level up is⦠an experience.
A weird, spoony experience.
## 4. Final Fantasy III β Onion Knight Requirements
Cute name, brutal grind.
## 5. Final Fantasy I β Bestiary Completion
Not the hardest, but easy to miss enemies if youβre not careful.
As I continue through the series, Iβm sure this list will grow, shift, and probably become even more chaotic.

# βοΈ The Journey Continues
Even with the jump rope trauma, Iβm not giving up.
Platinuming these games feels like honoring the series that shaped me β its worlds, its music, its characters, its heart.
Iβll keep going.
Iβll keep grinding.
Iβll keep laughing and crying.
And one dayβ¦
maybeβ¦
Iβll conquer that cursed jump rope.
Until then, the adventure continues.
